When was the last time you truly slowed down and took a moment to be present with either yourself or someone you love?
If you’re still thinking -- just know that you’re not alone.
Tell me if you can relate to this...
life was busy… covid hit… life was forced to slow down… and now as we return to normal we find ourselves busy again.
Or was that just me?? In 2020, I went from having an online business selling reclaimed wood frames that I made in my garage to remodeling an 1887 historic building for my brick and mortar boutique with an Airbnb rental above it. I love this new stage of my business but the crazy whirlwind of events has left me feeling weary and re-evaluating what's most important in life.
With our hectic and busy schedules, we prioritize productivity, efficiency, and having it all together. Then we lose sight of connection, mindfulness, and experiencing the moment.
And these moments don’t have to be big and grand. The small moments with little luxuries bring the most to my day.
I've found that the key to slowing down is to savor the simple things in life…
we don’t need an escape from our home when we’re weary, we need to make everyday moments in our home feel like an escape.
So I'm creating something new for you.
I've wanted to offer something as both a gift to you and a reminder that it’s the little things that can make everyday feel like a special occasion. When your cup is full you can then pour over into your family.
It will also be a creative way for me to bring my boutique to you, but I truly want it to be more than that. I want it to:
- inspire you to create meaningful moments in your life and home.
- give you excitement for the upcoming season.
- lift you up as well as lift up other creative women.
- focus on quality over quantity (with everything in life)
- and give you the reminder that you don’t need more, you need meaningful.
These are just hints of what's to come-- next week I'll reveal what I've been putting together for you and it will be launching September 8th.
I really hope you love it as much as I've loved planning it for you :)
